Anila Quayyum Agha - Narratives of Belonging

Anila Quayyum Agha is a Pakistani–American cross-disciplinary artist who explores social and gender roles, global politics, cultural multiplicity, and mass media through drawing, painting, and large-scale installations. Agha is internationally recognized for her award-winning large-scale installations that use light, shadow and pattern to create inclusive, immersive & shared experiences.

The Artist Talk is presented by the Mary E. Johnson Lecture Fund for Social Justice and Human Rights and the Department of Art Studio. Co-sponsored with the departments of Film, Media & Theater, Philosophy & Religion, the McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives, and the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum.
