A dynamic environment of creativity and exploration, the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum (MHCAM) is admired for its innovative Teaching with Art program. The Museum serves as the largest classroom on campus, bringing together the humanities, sciences, and social sciences all under one roof.Annually the Museum collaborates with approximately 75 faculty members from 35 disciplines across the curriculum, hosting 180 class visits and 2,500 student visits. 80% of class visits are typically from disciplines other than art and art history, including biology, chemistry, English, history, international relations, psychology, and Spanish to name a few.
