  • Two handicap spaces available in front of building (in semicircular driveway)
  • If you are arriving via bus, the PVTA stop is on Lower Lake Road, in front of the semicircular driveway. (There is no bus service to Mount Holyoke College via the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) during summer break: May 17, 2025 – Sep. 1, 2025.)

Building access

  • Drop off area in front of Museum in semicircular driveway
  • Accessible entryway with power assist entrance to building

Visitor and accessibility services

  • Accessible restrooms in the Museum lobby
  • Water fountain and refill station available in Museum lobby
  • A manual wheelchair is available by request free of charge
  • Galleries are accessible for visitors using mobility devices and strollers
  • Chair lift available for entry to Gamble Auditorium adjacent to Museum lobby
  • Seating available in the lobby area and galleries
  • Folding stools and other seating available by request in the galleries
  • Service animals, as identified by the Americans with Disabilities Act, are welcome

For visitors with kids

  • Baby-changing station located in accessible restroom on first floor
