Join curators Kendra Weisbin and Emily Wood for a tour of the newly installed Gallery of Art from 700 to 1700, recently opened in September 2025. The opening of this gallery is the newest phase of MHCAM’s ambitious reinstallation project in which two small galleries were transformed into one much larger space. Old favorites—such as works by Italian and Flemish masters—are now in conversation with art from around the world, including rarely-displayed works from the collection and some notable recent acquisitions.

NOTE: the Museum will close starting on December 10 and remain closed through the spring and summer, for the final phase of renovation and reinstallation. MHCAM will reopen in Fall 2026 for the Museum’s 150th anniversary. Learn more about this exciting project and milestone anniversary.
