Beginning in 1931, the Friends of Art was established to support exhibitions and bolster the artistic life on campus. Today, when you join Friends of Art at the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum (MHCAM), you join an incredible legacy of more than 90 years of giving in support of the arts at Mount Holyoke College.

Why join Friends of Art?
As a Friends of Art member, your donation directly supports the Museum’s most essential work. Your gift makes our dynamic exhibitions and programming possible, including our signature Teaching with Art program. Not only does your donation ensure the successful daily operations of the Museum, it also provides meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to connect with art.
A year’s membership offers a variety of benefits:
- Your support keeps the museum free for everyone
- Stay up-to-date about upcoming exhibition openings, lectures, student-led tours and other event programs with our eblast newsletter
- Receive subscription to annual MHCAM Magazine, featuring in-depth looks at our exhibitions, new acquisitions, and Teaching with Art program
- Enjoy reciprocal benefits at other museums and cultural institutions
Depending on which membership level you choose, you may be eligible for additional benefits. No matter what your gift or membership level, we value your contribution and support. To learn more, please see below.
