This tour focuses on things, people, and ideas that our society sometimes doesn’t appreciate because of cultural norms and differences. Visitors will explore images of underappreciated bodies and learn about art that is often marginalized or undervalued. Looking at art from tenth-century Iran to twentieth-century pueblo communities, together we will learn more about art and artists that are often overlooked.
