This tour will ask visitors to question an artist’s original intent in creating a piece and how their work functions differently in a museum environment. Visitors will see ordinary objects like jugs and shoes being repurposed and made into art. Transcending aesthetics and delving into the history behind objects, we will explore a wide array cultures and time periods from the Italian Renaissance to contemporary America.
