Letter to Dorothy Blair from Yoshida Hiroshi

In this letter dated May 23, 1930, Yoshida Hiroshi describes his failed experiment to use ultramarine colors (which he writes incorrectly as “altramaline”) in his new prints and having to switch to indigo. In the later part of the letter, Hiroshi writes about his sketching trip with his son Tōshi and Tōshi’s first attempt at designing a print.
