Artist Statement 101
Virtual
This live virtual program, Artist Statement 101, will focus on strategies for writing a general artist statement. With a combination of presentation and group conversation led by curator and writer Elizabeth Rooklidge, participants will come away from the session with a concrete plan for writing a statement, as well as a store of generative techniques to use now and in the future.
Free and open to the public by advance registration on Zoom; this event will not be recorded.
Moderated by Lisa Iglesias, Associate Professor of Art, and co-sponsored by the Art Studio Department and the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum.
