Teaching Museums in the 21st Century
Video recording of a lecture by Jock Reynolds, The Henry J. Heinz II Director, Yale University Art Gallery
The Third Annual Patricia and Edward Falkenberg Lecture featured acclaimed museum director Jock Reynolds. This event served as the inaugural program of MHCAM’s yearlong celebration of its 140th anniversary. Reynolds discussed the unique capability of academic art museums to enrich the educational opportunities of their parent institutions. Over the last 18 years, Reynolds has led the Yale University Art Gallery through a major expansion and reinstallation of its facilities, and launched a program of collection-sharing among college and university art museums. The lecture occurred on September 15, 2016.
